    RAJIV KAPASI (Founder & Managing Director)

    As Founder & Managing Director of BMAC, Rajiv is responsible for spear-heading all projects & operations of the firm domestically and globally. He is the main interface of the firm-client relationship, which reflects his personal commitment of time and energy on all assignments.

    Rajiv has more than 15 years of experience in Consulting across all Industries in the field of Strategy and M & A ranging from FMCG, Retail, Oil and Gas, Food and Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Retail Sector to Infrastructure. The role has entailed him leading on India Entry Consulting, Facilitating Cross-border Transactions, Strategic Planning, Organization Design, Corporate Development and Market Research.

    Rajiv's academic career includes a first class Honours Degree in Commerce from Delhi University and Chartered Accountancy from ICAI, India. A switch from CA to a MBA programme ensured perfect match of management & finance.

    Prior to founding BMA Capital, Rajiv was working with a Leading Life sciences company, Jubilant Organosys as Head - Strategy and M & A, as a leader of the M&A team which, completed multiple international cross border M&A transactions in various fields.

    Prior to his corporate experience, Rajiv worked in leading consulting firms like Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young in New Delhi, Mumbai and Chicago, where he led several projects of risk consulting, market entry strategy, transaction advisory, operational strategy with wide experience with clients like Coca cola, Moser baer, Aventis, Barista, Dominos, Indian Oil, Pepsi.

    He currently sits on the Board of Kiran Vyapar Limited a listed NBFC and in past was BOD of Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills and has been instrumental in advising the company on their long term strategy. Extremely well networked and enjoys a very high profile leadership position within India Inc, and participated as speaker and spoken at various events organized by various forums like - Frost and Sullivan and CII.

    Vice President

    AASHISH AHUJA (Vice President)

    Aashish brings with him a deep understanding of the Pharma, Lifesciences and FMCG sectors.

    In BMA Capital Aashish, is involved assignments relating to venture capital and private equity funding and M&A. He is involved identifying and execution of PE and M&A Transactions.

    Aashish has over 10 years of experience in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions with special expertise on Deal Sourcing, Strategic Understanding of Firms and their business models, Industry and Financial Analysis, Valuations etc.. His professional experience in this field ranges from dong deals in India, China and the US. In his earlier role he worked in the corporate strategy and M&A cell of a Jubilant Organosys and was part of five significant M&A deals.

    Aashish did his PGDM from the Amity Business School. He completed the Financial Engineering programme jointly offered by the ISB and the UCLA Anderson School of Management. As a avid learner he's been part of several development programmes on Mergers &Acquisitions; Private Equity; Advanced Finance at IIM Ahemdabad and the ISB Hyderabad respectively.

    A report on Corporate Governance written by him was accepted and presented in the WCCG (World Council on Corporate Governance) a few years earlier.

BMA Capital leverages on its rich network of relationships in the PE industry, to reach out and identify the most appropriate partner for capital raising depending upon the sector focus, the deal size, the risk appetite etc., of the PE institution. The entire capital syndication process is managed by BMAC solely on all its transactions.

PE Offerings: BMA Capital works with some leading PE funds to undertake search assignments on their behalf.

  • BMA Capital does an in-depth analysis of the companies in any given sector of interest to the Investor using the investors lens as a criterion.
  • It creates the first level fitment filter for the investor by understanding the company’s business, strategy and financials.
  • It then shares its analysis with these PE investors for their feedback and arranges for management meetings.
